The service

Beautiful Trains provides live UK train departure information and journey planning. Train data is sourced from National Rail Enquiries and the Rail Data Marketplace. While we make every effort to display accurate, timely information, train times and statuses are provided without warranty. Do not rely solely on this app for time-critical travel decisions.

Journey alerts

Journey alerts are removed automatically if a device has not opened the app (with notifications allowed) for 30 days; they are a convenience, not a guarantee of notification.

Acceptable use

You may use Beautiful Trains for personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not:

• Reverse engineer or extract data from the app
• Use the app to build competing products or services
• Attempt to circumvent any subscription or entitlement system

Subscriptions

Beautiful Trains+ is sold through the Apple App Store as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription, each with a one-month free trial, or as a one-time lifetime purchase. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each period, and the trial converts to a paid subscription at the end of the trial month, unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period in iOS Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Family Sharing is enabled on all Beautiful Trains+ products. Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Refunds are handled by Apple under its standard terms; request one at reportaproblem.apple.com.

Train data

Train departure and journey data is provided by National Rail Enquiries under their developer terms. Train formation, historical performance and station data is provided through the Rail Data Marketplace under the terms of each data product. Data accuracy and availability is subject to those providers' systems and is outside our control. Delays, cancellations, and service disruptions may not always be reflected in real time.

Limitation of liability

Beautiful Trains is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for missed trains, losses, or damages arising from use of or inability to use the app.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
